What is SEO and how to leverage it for your online business?

When you hear the acronym SEO, do your eyes gloss over? LOL. Maybe it's not that serious, but many budding entrepreneurs and even successful business owners still ask what is SEO and how can they leverage it for their business. This week's episode explains what SEO, which stands for search engine optimization, is and three strategies you can implement on your website or blog to start capitalizing on this important part of online marketing.

We discuss what 

Technical optimization is: That is essentially optimizing your blog or webpage via the SEO function on the backend of your site. This will impact how your page displays on search engines and where it leads your searcher too. Power tip: Make sure to add the deep link that takes searches exactly where they want to go to get the information they are searching for.

On-Page Optimization: This is formatting your copy, images, and headlines with keyword-rich phrases.

Off-Page Optimization: This involves using outside platforms and recourses to create backlinks to your website which help promote it and increase its relevancy in search algorithms.

We also touch on ways to improve search engine optimization for your e-commerce store such as Etsy, Shopify, and Amazon.
